ABOUT RESINERS
Chuck is a structural engineer who graduated from the University of California, San Diego, and has a deep passion for DIY crafts. During his college years, he engaged in various creative projects, but his true enthusiasm blossomed in the realm of resin DIY art. Eager to share his skills, he founded a personal craft studio focused on creating and selling unique handmade resin items.
While working in his craft studio, Chuck encountered an elderly woman who delighted in watching him create with resin. Unfortunately, the curing process took a long time, and her age and limited energy prevented her from participating. Despite her disappointment, watching Chuck’s artistry brought back fond memories of her own resin creations from her youth. Inspired by her situation, Chuck began to wonder: could he design a machine that would make the DIY experience more accessible for resin enthusiasts like her, who faced challenges due to age? This moment ignited a journey of innovation, empowering creators of all ages to express their artistic visions.

Chuck began his experiments, and during his search for supply chain solutions, he fortunately met Ada, an experienced supply chain manager with years of expertise in the DIY craft field. Intrigued by Chuck's vision, Ada shared numerous product concepts, and together they found common ground. Their complementary skills led to a swift collaboration, bringing the idea to life and giving birth to Resiners—a brand dedicated to providing comprehensive solutions for resin enthusiasts, enabling them to express their creativity more effectively and efficiently.

In the early stages, Resiners encountered several challenges, particularly with the curing time of resin. To tackle this, the team dedicated a year to extensive research and experimentation, testing dozens of products and conducting hundreds of trials with microwaves, ovens, heating pads, and food dehydrators—all aimed at accelerating the curing process. Ultimately, they developed their first curing device, Cure II, based on a prototype inspired by food dehydrators.
Following the success of Cure II, Resiners quickly came up with the idea of the resin dryer box for cup turners. Considering the shape of the cups commonly used by resin DIY enthusiasts, they purchased various samples from the market to analyze their structures and design a compatible device. This way, users could utilize their existing cups to match turners without incurring additional costs. After the cup turner was released, Resiners noticed that many users also used it to cure molds of greater height. To improve this, the Resiners R&D team added a front panel to the cup turner, ensuring temperature control and dust prevention for the curing of taller molds.
The beauty of resin art lies in its crystal-clear transparency, unmarred by bubbles. Even the tiniest air bubble can dramatically affect the appearance of a piece, making it difficult to display or sell and leading to wasted materials and labor. Removing bubbles should have been a top priority for the Resiners team; however, the challenges in developing an effective solution made it difficult to find the right approach.

In 2022, a breakthrough emerged. Resiners discovered that ultra-vacuum technology could effectively remove air from resin. To overcome the challenges posed by traditional, bulky vacuum pumps, they designed the world’s first compact and portable bubble removal machine—the Resiners® AirLess Bubble Removal Machine. This innovative device has garnered high praise from users for its simplicity and effectiveness, ensuring that resin artworks are flawless.

As Resiners continued its efforts, the brand gradually gained recognition, attracting a vibrant community of resin enthusiasts. Among them was an enthusiast named Ava, who raised concerns about resin yellowing. In response, Resiners assembled its R&D team to develop a resin formula that would address this issue at its core. After testing various materials, visiting factories, and conducting tens of thousands of experiments, they found a reputable supplier offering a resin formula free of BAP and VOCs.

Resiners is deeply committed to fostering a safer and more comfortable environment for its customers. Acknowledging the potential release of harmful gases (specific volatile organic compounds) during the resin-making process, the R&D team developed Resiners Purair, a purifier specifically designed for epoxy resin fumes. This purifier effectively filters harmful substances and decomposes them to prevent secondary pollution. With a smart monitoring system that provides real-time feedback on TVOC levels in the air, users can ensure they are in an optimal creative environment. The well-being of creators is fundamental to artistic expression, and with user health safeguarded, creativity can thrive with peace of mind.
Resiners firmly believes that resin art transcends mere crafting, it is a powerful form of artistic expression that allows users to explore their true selves and pursue their dreams. Looking ahead, Resiners plans to offer online and offline resin courses, creative workshops, and competitions to provide a platform for creators to showcase their work.
