Before Your First Pour.
Start with a small project, use the correct resin, follow the instructions, and wear the recommended protective equipment.
Choose UV resin for quick, small pieces. Choose epoxy for coasters, trays, flowers, and larger molds.
You need the right resin, a compatible mold or surface, basic measuring and mixing tools, PPE, and a suitable workspace.
Common causes include an incorrect ratio, incomplete mixing, low temperature, insufficient curing, thick UV layers, or weak UV exposure.
Mix and pour carefully, use an appropriate bubble-removal method, follow the manufacturer’s instructions, wear suitable PPE, and work in an appropriate environment.
